Deck Bar Adjustment

Adjustment is as simple as 1 2 3.

  1. Remove the holedown bolts.  When the bolts are removed the bars will not fall off, the heavy metal bracket saddles over the main frame at at the top and bottom supporting the deck bars, the bolts prevent the bars from shifting side to side on the frame.
  2. Using the welded center bar as a starting point slide the bars to the desired opening.
  3. Replace the hold down bolts and you're ready to go.

Deck Bar Support

Note the support beam spanning the frame beneath the deck bars in the impact area about a third of the way down from the top. This support bar is placed about 5 inches below the deck bars to prevent material from hanging up while moving down the face. A U bracket is welded to each deck bar which extends down and contacts the support beam preventing the deck bar from bending.
